Terms of use

This website is a personal professional portfolio operated by Fernando Francisco Azevedo. By browsing it, you agree to use the content lawfully, respectfully and without attempting to impair the site, abuse forms, scrape private interfaces or bypass security controls.

The content is provided for professional presentation, learning, portfolio review, community conversations and technical discussion. Access may be changed, limited or discontinued without prior notice when needed for security, maintenance, cost control or editorial updates.

  • Do not submit unlawful, offensive, confidential third-party or malicious content through forms or AI features.
  • Do not attempt automated abuse, denial of service, credential discovery, prompt injection, spam or excessive requests.
  • External links are provided for convenience and are governed by the terms and privacy practices of their own providers.

Privacy and LGPD notice

The site may process limited personal data that you voluntarily provide, such as name, email, message content, newsletter subscription choices, resume feedback and technical metadata needed for security and operations.

Processing is generally based on consent, legitimate interest, execution of requested communication, security, fraud prevention and compliance with applicable obligations. Data is used only for reasonable portfolio operations, communication, abuse prevention, analytics, newsletter delivery and service improvement.

  • You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, anonymization, portability, information about sharing, objection or consent revocation when applicable under LGPD.
  • Sensitive personal data should not be submitted through forms or AI prompts unless strictly necessary and intentionally provided by you.
  • Operational logs may include technical metadata such as IP-derived identifiers, user agent, country, timestamps, request IDs and abuse-control signals.

AI and Amazon Bedrock features

Some features use Amazon Bedrock to answer questions about Fernando's profile, suggest AWS reference architectures or compare public professional context with a pasted role or challenge.

AI output can be incomplete or wrong and should be treated as a helpful assistant, not as a binding statement, hiring guarantee, legal advice, financial advice, security certification or official representation of any employer.

  • AI routes use input limits, rate limits, daily budget controls, blacklist rules, abuse checks and optional Turnstile enforcement.
  • Telemetry may be stored in AWS S3 for security, cost control and quality improvement. Raw prompts/responses are disabled by default unless explicitly configured.
  • Do not paste secrets, credentials, private client data, regulated financial information or confidential employer material into AI prompts.

Cookies, analytics and security checks

The site may use browser storage, Vercel Analytics, Cloudflare Turnstile and similar lightweight security or observability tools to understand basic usage, protect forms and improve reliability.

Cloudflare Turnstile may perform security checks to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Analytics are used in aggregate to improve performance, content and user experience.

  • You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
  • Some security controls may be required for contact, resume feedback or anti-spam flows.
  • Blocking all scripts may reduce functionality, including forms, theme/language preferences and anti-abuse checks.

Professional, employer and regulatory disclaimers

The opinions, articles, examples, architectures, podcast notes and AI answers on this site are personal and do not represent Banco Itaú, affiliates, clients, partners or previous employers unless explicitly stated.

Architecture content is educational and contextual. It is not a formal security review, compliance opinion, audit report, procurement recommendation, investment advice, legal advice or regulated financial recommendation.

  • References to AWS, Bedrock, Cloudflare, Vercel, GitHub and other services are descriptive and do not imply endorsement or partnership.
  • Portfolio examples may be generalized, anonymized or simplified to protect confidentiality and avoid disclosing proprietary information.
  • Recruiting, speaking, community and collaboration messages are welcome, but no availability or employment representation is implied by this site.

Retention, security and incident handling

Data is kept only for a reasonable period compatible with the purpose of collection, operational needs, legal requirements, security investigation, abuse prevention and historical communication records.

Security controls include least-privilege AWS access patterns, rate limiting, Turnstile for forms, S3 encryption for AI logs, DynamoDB guardrails where configured, secret scanning in CI and production deployment checks.

  • No public website can guarantee absolute security, but the architecture is designed to reduce exposure, abuse and surprise AI costs.
  • If a privacy or security issue is suspected, contact fernando@moretes.com with enough context to investigate.
  • Terms and notices may be updated as the site evolves, especially when new AI, newsletter, analytics or cloud features are added.
